During a work week at the Fabriek Eindhoven, I did a collaboration with other selected artists of various diciplines.
The idea was to build an exhibition together in one week around the theme "Young At Food". We had several meetings in which we talked together about our practices and how we could bring them together in an exhibition around this theme. Some of us have chosen to base their work around this theme, while others have based their practice mainly around food.
My own practice does not directly address this issue. I saw this mainly as an opportunity to experiment more with layering in my work by creating a mural on which to hang the work. In this way, I wanted to show my works more as characters than as paintings. 
For me, it was mainly important that the theme of food continued in a certain way throughout the space than specifically in my work itself. 
The participating artists with whom I have collaborated are; Charlotte Bouman, Henry Hobbs, Senna Hanraths, Ilana Javaheri, Alissa Saito, Lucy Schreurs and Miles Worner
